Due to the drought-like weather we have been experiencing and the increased use of community members using irrigation systems, the City of Sartell has extremely low water levels so the City of Sartell is issuing a water emergency. In order to avoid a citation, join us in taking the following precautions as residents and business owners:

  • No irrigation allowed (public or private properties – including city parks)
  • Splash Pad will be closed until further notice, but we will monitor it closely in hopes of opening ASAP (Celebration pool is not afftected)

Public Works Utility crews will be monitoring water levels constantly to determine when we are at a safer level and we will continue to communicate updates with our residents and businesses.

The Public Works Utility crews will be out and about educating residents on the ban June 9th and 10th.

We will not issue citations for those who use non-city sources for irrigation, but encourage cooperation with the ban if possible.

The City of Sartell appreciates your cooperation at this time. We need to work together to keep our community safe!
