Water and sewer services are provided to Sartell residents by the City’s Public Works department. If you have any questions or concerns with your water and sewer, please contact the city at info@sartellmn.com or call the City Hall at 320-253-2171.

PET LICENSE

City ordinance requires that all dogs six (6) months and older owned or harbored within the city limits of Sartell have a current Sartell Animal license attached to the animal. A current certificate of rabies vaccination must be presented when applying for the license. If applicable, proof of spay or neutering also needs to be presented to receive a discounted license. Annual licenses are due by April 1st of each year; however, they may be purchased at any time for new dogs. City dog licenses can be obtained at Sartell City Hall with the animal’s Rabies Vaccination Certificate.

City ordinance also requires that all dogs and cats be kept within their owner’s property or on a leash when being walked. Residents are limited to 2 dogs in the city limits.


Water Resources


A city-owned and operated water system make up a major portion of the Sartell water supply provided by the Sartell Water Treatment Facility and Sewer Department. The water supply comes from 9 wells and 3 water treatment plants with a total pumping capacity of about 12 million gallons per day. Learn more about the Sartell water and city utilities.

Pay Water Bill Online
Residents may pay their water bill online through the city webstore – a quick and convenient resource to pay a utility bill. Residents should submit their water meter reading when paying a utility bill.

If water is currently shut off for non-payment, the resident should add an additional $50.00 fee to the payment to turn on water services.
