Building Inspections
Kyle Christensen is the appointed Building Official
for the City of Sartell. If you have questions on receiving a building permit or building code questions, give him a call at (320)258-7308. A 24-hour notice
is required to schedule inspections. Inspections can be scheduled by Jill by calling (320)258-7317. Building permit applications can be dropped off at Sartell City Hall. Most building permit fees are based on the value of the project and it usually will take about 5-7 business days for processing. However, building permits for siding, re-roofing, window or door replacement can be purchased at Sartell City Hall and are issued at the time of application. The cost for these types of permits is $50.50 each.

included the code requirements for:
Accessory buildings 120 square feet or less, fences, unattached decks, permanent above ground pools less than 24 inches in depth and 5000 gallons, and parking pads require a zoning permit to ensure proper setbacks, type, etc. Zoning permits can be down loaded for your convenience. Please call the Sartell Planning Department with any questions relating to the zoning permit requirements (320.258.7316).
